School Business Manager

  • Salary Grade 5 (£27,514 – £30,904 pro rata)
  • 37 hrs per week 40 weeks per year
  • Permanent
  • Required to start 1/9/2022

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced SBM with an approachable personality and sense of humour to join our friendly, hardworking school community.
You will work closely with the Head teacher, be part of the Senior Leadership Team and be responsible for: 

  • Financial Management
  • Premises Management
  • Health & Safety
  • HR
  • Strategic Financial Planning
  • Leading the School Admin/ Premises and MDSA teams

You will have:

  • A SBM qualification would be an advantage. However it is possible that an experienced School Business Manager could fulfil the criteria.
  • Knowledge of SIMS FMS and SIMS.net (essential)
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to multiple tasks
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Remain calm under pressure in a busy school environment

Breakfast and After School Lead (Level 3 Qualified – Early Years)

  • £20,903 pro rata
  • 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday (some flexibility), 38 weeks per year but additional hours may be required on PD Days*
  • Permanent

*Additional hours are available across the school.

Woodbridge Primary School have an exciting opportunity for a positive and committed person to join our community as the leader for our thriving After School and Breakfast Club – Willow Garden.

We have grown the wraparound care available at the school since taking over the provision in January 2013. The club has flexible use of the hall and other parts of the school building, as well as our beautiful grounds.

We are looking for someone with drive, creativity and a well-developed sense of nurture to work alongside the School Business Manager and Senior Leadership Team in continuing Willow Garden’s success.

Candidates will need to be Level 3 Qualified in Early Years.
