Our Vision and Ethos

At Woodbridge Primary School,
we teach more than the curriculum.

Vision

At Woodbridge Primary, we strive to prepare our children for a future in which they can achieve success and make a positive contribution to their communities and the wider world. Developing the ‘whole’ child is key for us in creating well-rounded individuals who will flourish in life. We aim to inspire a love of learning, encouraging children to become lifelong learners with a sense of curiosity.

Ethos & Values

We believe that children learn best when they are happy and safe, surrounded by a caring, passionate staff team and supportive peers. Our ‘Seven Cs’ create the foundation for this environment and are interwoven throughout the children’s learning as they progress through the school. Celebrating culture and respecting differences creates a vibrant and inclusive classroom where British values such as mutual respect and tolerance are developed.

We strongly believe that a variety of experiences and learning opportunities help with the holistic development of the child, including their mental health and wellbeing. Outdoor learning is highly valued and enhances our teaching of the curriculum, this includes a successful forest school programme which enhances our culture of the ‘Seven Cs’.
