Sandra Thompson

Business Manager

Sandra moved to Suffolk from the Lake District in 2003 and has worked in many schools throughout the county.  As part of the Enhanced Finance Service of Suffolk County Council she gained lots of experience in the finance area of education.  Before having her children, she worked for the Northern Rock Building Society as a branch manager and has worked at Woodbridge Primary School as the School Business Manager since 2013.  Sandra has two sons, one studying at Bath University and the other attends WPS. She enjoys spending time with her family, the outdoors and travelling.

Lucy Graham-Scott

Admin/Finance Assistant

Lucy studied Biological Sciences, gaining a First Class Honours degree in Zoology as well as a Commendation from the Institute of Biology for her dissertation research into genetically modified Rhizobia. She taught Science at various secondary schools in England and Wales for 15 years before leaving teaching to spend more time with her family.

Lucy joined the Office Team at WPS in 2015 and has never looked back! Among her many and varied responsibilities she deals with school admissions and does the bookings and invoicing for Willow Garden Wrap Around and Little Willows Nursery.

Lucy enjoys celebrating as many random holidays as possible – firm family favourites are Marzipan Day, Pi Day, Talk Like A Pirate Day and Periodic Table Day! She can also regularly be seen sporting fancy dress costumes.

During lockdown Lucy took up virtual walking challenges and so far has completed The Inca Trail, The English Channel, Mount Fuji, Mount Everest and The Flower Route in Holland. At lunchtimes she can currently be found walking the North Coast 500 in Scotland! One day she plans to visit these places in real life

Rosie Denny

Communications Assistant

Rosie joined Woodbridge Primary School in 2021 and works mainly in the office. She is responsible for keeping parents and staff up to date with everything going on in the school, whether via the website or the email system. She enjoys writing the weekly newsletter and capturing the children’s special moments.

Prior to this, Rosie worked as a marketing copywriter for local and national software firms where she gained skills in writing web-friendly web content as well as creating and editing videos. Rosie graduated from the University of Leeds with an English degree and from there spent many happy years in children’s book publishing before moving into digital marketing.

Rosie is a qualified florist and likes to run. Outside of school, you’ll find her playing football (badly) with her son, who attends Woodbridge Primary School.
