Y6 Hands on Heritage

Trips, Y6

On Friday 12th July (the Friday after Treasure Island!), Y6 will be heading out for the day! We will be visiting Hands on Heritage at their site in Tunstall Forest near Snape for an exciting day of archaeology. During our excavation day, the children will use archaeological techniques and equipment, process their finds and from this build a story of what happened at the site. Hands on Heritage have sent over what an ‘Archaeologist’s Roman villa packed lunch‘ would look like – perhaps the children might like to recreate it?!

Please read the details below, complete this permission form and make payment of £7 by noon on Friday 5th July.
