It’s been a very busy week in year 6. Lots of us have done our Bikeability course this week and have passed with flying colours. We’ve had a fantastic poetry workshop with Mrs Watson Brown and hope to share some of our sonnets with you soon.
We’ve planted radish, lettuce, squash and bean seeds and so hope to see them germinating soon.
On Friday afternoon we welcomed Kevin and Jacqui from Just 42 who are running some “We’re moving to high school” sessions for us where we get to ask lots of questions about what things might be like in September. We finished the session with a fun game of Pass the Pong!
We have been looking at the glass sculptures created by Dale Chihuly. We are creating our own paper sculptures inspired by his love of colour and shape.
