Year 5 have been practising their skills for Sports Day with some great javelin throwing! Making emon batteries in the afternoon proved interesting!
Tuesday – a great morning with Premier Sports. Some really cool moves on the dance floor during Hip Hop. A very enjoyable (and safe) archery session too.
Mra Watson Brown returned to do some more work on poetry.
Wednesday – Our Code Clubbers began to share their own websites based on Our Earth. Some fantastic work going on.
Thursday – Very proud of our books of short stories we have created. Now sharing some of the stories from “The Tree of Life.”
Friday – Off for another swim. No rain we hope this week! Looking forward to a visit from Steve Bolton talking all about women footballers from the past. We have some great players in Year 5. Also looking forward to watching Year 6’s Macbeth!.
