On Friday 28th September, Y4 visited The Thoroughfare in Woodbridge to support them in their bid as a finalist in ‘The Great British High Street’.
They gave a fantastic performance of the school song, along with various other well-loved tunes!
Then, Y4 were able to stroll along The Thoroughfare and become unofficial judges. Along the way they encountered The Mayor, an Anglo-Saxon ship and a replica of the Great British Bake Off chandelier. All very exciting!
They finished their tour by visiting the library where Mrs Barnes showed them a book titled ‘The History of Woodbridge Primary’. Inside they saw photos from Edwardian times up to 2007 and the last photo featured a few of our current staff.
