Carrying on with our Reading Comprehension – Acting out two scenes from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in our wood.
1. When Peter has his first battle and fights the wolf, saving Susan.
2. When the witch and the dwarf tie Edmund to a tree with malicious intent, then thankfully he is rescued.
Look at our fabulous facial expressions and body language!
Last week the children in Y4 were freeze framing the scenes and characters from The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe where Edmund walks up to the Witch’s castle, stepping over Maugrim – chief of the Witch’s police and where the witch had turned her enemies (the good creatures of Narnia) into stone.
The children were given 3 tyres to play with and this is what they came up with. Lovely collaborative play!
