Year 4 report the (fake) news! #fakenews #superwriting
Harry, Harrison and Lucian found a slow worm during their play. We discovered that slow worms are legless lizards (not snakes) and are endangered. It shows that our school grounds are good for wildlife – how lucky are we? We shared our bucketed find with other year groups.
Everything is growing beautifully now that the summer is finally arriving! We harvested some of our radishes that were ready, washed them and had them with our lunch!
Planting squash (red kuri) and sweetcorn (swift). We cut hazel poles from our hazel trees growing around the outside of the ball court – zero air miles and a low carbon footprint!
