Y4 – Fitness Workout

Y4 – Science
As part of their ‘Sound’ Science topic, year 4 have started their investigation to find out who has the loudest voice in the class. Named after the cartoon, we’ve called this investigation, Foghorn Leghorn!
We discussed and wrote our hypothesis (posh scientific word for what we think the outcome will be). Following this, we used a decibel reader app to record each one of us shouting ‘Foghorn Leghorn’! We recorded the maximum decibels reached. So far, we’ve recorded our test 1 but we will each do this 3 times to get a more accurate result. We had to make sure that it was a fair test so the distance variable remained the same. The only variable to change was the person. Watch this space to find out who scientifically has the loudest voice!!
