Goalball – Y4
Groups within Y4 played goalball. This is a team sport designed specifically for athletes with a vision impairment. Fox, Y4, gives his report:
There were around 10 of us and we formed a queue and two people would go in goal and wear blindfolds and sit on mats. The person before would grab a ball and throw it, the ones on mats would have to locate where the ball was based on sound. Every once in a while we would switch. It was really fun to be in goal.
Marvellous Muffins – Y4 Design Tech
Y4 has been busy making our marvellous muffins for a DT project. The children have demonstrated their craftsmanship, communication and commitment (as well as curiosity) to design, create and bake these scrumptious yet healthy treats.
