Sports, Y3

We have been practising the 50m sprint for sports day. We all tried really hard to go as fast as we could.

We have been learning about Skara Brae in Scotland which is a well preserved Stone Age settlement. We all made our own book by folding paper and then we wrote down facts about Skara Brae and added illustrations.

We decided to do our weekly reading comprehension outside today as the weather was so beautiful. We worked in pairs or small groups to read the text and answer the questions.

On Tuesday Years 3 and 4 practised some of the events that we will be doing on sports day. They included: hurdles, javelin, long jump and the triple jump (hop, skip and jump)
