Y3 – w/c 14th March

Y1 w/c 14th March

The final group in Year 3 got their chance to try out Goalball in the hall with Mrs Murton. Goalball is an exciting Paralympic sport where everybody is required to wear an eyeshade, therefore having to rely totally on other senses. The children used their sense of hearing to track the movement of a ball containing internal bells. They got involved in a number of activities including knocking down skittles, passing as a team and taking penalties against each other. As you can see from the pictures, the children had a great time and were absolutely brilliant. We were very impressed with their excellent communication and teamwork skills. Well done Year 3!
