Y1 w/c 13th June
It’s been a fin-tastic week in Year 1!
We’ve learnt so much about sharks and I’ve been so impressed with the books, pictures, shark teeth, and facts that the kiddos have shown or told me.
We’ve created a fact file and a fun shark sea picture, using different mediums. We also looked at what makes a shark a shark and how they differ from whales; such as whales have bones and are mammals, whereas a shark’s skeleton is made out of cartlidge and are classed as fish.
It’s been a great week and a lovely extension to World Oceans Day, which was last Wednesday.
