As part of the FOWPS fundraising, we will be starting our very own ‘Home-Grown Produce’ Stall. A parent has very kindly offered us the use of a beautiful stall that will sit outside school with an honesty box.
We are asking you (keen gardeners) if you would consider planting a few extra seeds for us NOW? Then, when it comes to the warmer months, if you have a torrent of tomatoes, a monstrous marrow, a cornucopia of cucumbers, an avalanche of apples or a plethora of potatoes…please pop them onto our stall and any money raised will go straight to the school!
Our children will also be getting involved as we start to get our market garden underway. Plans are afoot to create our very own WPS allotment and, if you would like to help in the creation of this, please speak to the office or a member of FOWPS.
You will see this poster placed around school…please do ask any grandparents etc to plant a few extra bits for us!
