Summer Fair – thank you SO much!
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the summer fair on Saturday. With all your kind donations, we managed to raise £2361, which will go a long way to providing much-needed funds for the next academic year.
Of course, it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing army of volunteers. From cake baking (and selling) to music making, repairing wind-blown gazebos, sweating over BBQ coals, clearing up smashed crockery and coconuts and so much more: it was hard work but we did it!
THANK YOU to all our volunteers for committing their time – you know who you are!
That said, I know you will all appreciate us giving a very special mention to the amazing Chair of FOWPS, Leanne Ludidi, who did so much of the organisaton in advance of the Summer Fair and worked tirelessly to make sure that it went ahead for the first time in 3 years: her commitment has been incredible and we thank her and applaud her for her ability to keep calm and stay smiley.
Sadly, Leanne is stepping down at the end of term, so we will be looking to replace her. In addition, we want to make sure that we start next year with a strong PTA! So, if you would like to get involved, then please make a note of our next AGM, which will be in September.
Mystery At Magpie Manor – tickets still available
The school production of ‘The Mystery At Magpie Manor’ goes on stage next week. The dress rehearsal takes place on Tuesday afternoon, allowing the rest of the school to enjoy the show in school time. The evening performances take place on 7pm on Wednesday 13th and again at 7pm on Thursday 14th July.
Thank you to everyone who has booked their tickets. We’ve had an amazing uptake and are really looking forward to welcoming you and your families over the two nights. If you have booked but are yet to pay, please do before the performances start. Payment to the school bank account please, £3.50 per adult, £1.50 per child.
TICKETS STILL AVAILABLE! Click here to book.

Sports Days
Everyone should know their teams by now, but if your child aren’t sure then please speak to the class teacher or email us.
Just a reminder of two menu changes for Monday, 18th and Tuesday, 19th July. These are our KS1 and KS2 Sports Days and the only menu on offer will be a ‘grab bag’ as follows:
Monday, 18th July
Pizza swirl and chips with potato wedges & crudites, followed by flapjack and fruit.
Tuesday, 19th July
Fish/veggie nuggets with wedges and crudites, followed by vanilla crunch and fruit.
You can choose to pay for these (as you would a hot dinner or Pick N Mix) or send your child in with a packed lunch. If you are able to attend on Sports Day then you are most welcome to bring a picnic to share with your child once the races are over.
Please note: The Early Years Sports Day is on Wednesday, 13th July at 11 – 11.45am.

All clubs have finished except Code Club (last session Monday 18th July) and Forest School (last session Monday 11th July).
