The one with the residentials…

With Mr Krisson assuming the role of ‘Bottle
Washer’ on the Y6 Derbyshire residential trip, I am
delighted to be holding the fort at home!
Welcome to the school Jamiro in Y1 (who seems to
have settled in fabulously) and welcome to the
world Mrs Murton’s baby girl, Mabel!
This month has seen a number of important events.
Parents attended an evening to discuss the
possibility of WPS becoming part of an academy,
two residential trips have taken place, an Ofsted
inspection and KS2 SATs. Thank you to so many of
you who completed the Ofsted survey – we are so
very grateful for your feedback.

The second half of the term will be
filled with many exciting activities,
leading up to a well-earned summer
break. Many of the classes have
trips, planned and we have various Stay and Play
sessions to take part in. There are
lots of sports events including
two football matches, a mini tennis tournament,
Quad Kids and Tag Rugby.
Make a note of all the events in your diaries….there
are lots of them!
