Staff Fundraise For a New Pirate Ship

Our terrific trio; Miss Sutherland, Mrs Watson-Brown & Miss Quinney, took part in The Virtual London Marathon on the 23rd of April to raise money for a new playground pirate ship, where they smashed their goal to raise a whopping £1,485!

They battled through wind, pouring rain and a few bouts of sunshine along the 26.2-mile route, joined by other staff members along the way!

They were greeted at the finish line with a welcoming party of students and their families (as well as a welcomed cup of tea and a sit-down). A huge well done to them for their incredible commitment o the school. We are sure many of the children will be looking up to them and their efforts as inspiration so that they too can achieve remarkable things.

Thank you as well to all of the families, friends and staff who contributed to the fundraising, and a special shout-out too to PD Ports who donated £250 to the cause.

Take a look through some of the pictures below to see the trio with their medals, as well as out on the challenge!
