November 2018 Newsletter

The one with the Fire…

I’m am delighted to see lots of new faces in the school this month. Maisie and Maddie in Y3, Annie in Y2 and Ellie in Y1. Our new Little Willows this term are Alfie, Daisy, Finn, Henry, Henry, Jessica, Rose and Sebastian. Welcome to you all!
This month has see many sporting successes and I’m so proud of every child who represents the school. A special mention should go to Maia in Y5 who took part in a National Finals for Karate, won bronze and gold medals and will now proceed to the World Cup. Well done Maia – you really made the most of your WPS karate scholarship!

November is all about Remembrance and we have some lovely events lined up for the children. This week, Martin Sanjaya visited us to talk about the upcoming 100th anniversary of the end of World War 1. Photos of this and other activities will feature next month. We also hold our Children in Need Spots & Stripes Day on 16th November so this really is a time for Consideration of others.
