Woodbridge's very own 'Floppy the Hare' will make their debut this summer!
As part of the Hop It Trail this summer, our children have worked together from Nursery to Year 6 to create a beautiful piece of art—Floppy the Hare!
Every child contributed by designing and decorating flowers to embellish Floppy, making it a truly collaborative project. The name Floppy was chosen by combining two suggestions selected by our Student Council, and we think it suits our hare perfectly!
Our school council chose the name ‘Floppy’ through a voting system: combining ‘Flowers’ & ‘Hoppy’
In March, when Floppy was ready (looking very beautiful and spring-like) they were delivered to St. Elizabeth Hospice. To further support this wonderful cause, we launched a successful fundraising effort:
“Thank you all for your pennies and pounds; the bottle collection helped us reach our target of £650. With support from Parents, Woodbridge Town Council, and the PTA, our beautiful Hare, ‘Floppy,’ will be part of the Woodbridge Trail over the Summer”

The art trail will take place between 21 June and 29 August 2025.
