Looking at Healthy Eating

This week Y1 have been looking at vitamins – where we get them from, why we need them and their importance. We’ve been active with a vitamin style movement session, looked at which fruits/vegetables give us vitamins and what kind, we drew our own vitamin rich dinner and have started to look at how we can eat a rainbow.

We also looked at a book called ‘llama destroys the world’. This booked helped us with the order of the days of the week, as well as why it is important to eat a balanced diet and not just one food group.
