The one with the snow…
The school has definitely seen some March madness this year with snow followed by lots and lots of action-packed learning days. We managed to survive the challenge of the severe weather and thank you for responding so well to the change of routine.
Once the snow had disappeared we were busy, busy, busy…a lively drumming assembly, an explosive science day, 100 million minutes (see next month for a write-up on this), class assemblies, a Spelling Bee, a victorious swimming gala, a chilly cross country championship, the travelling book fair, an Easter Experience at St John’s church, the Planetarium, Easter bunnies invading Early Years AND we achieved Gold Status in the Big Sing. Phew!
I was sad to be forced to postpone our World Book Day but we have been able to find a new day for author Danny Wallace to visit theschool (27th March). I also can’t wait to see the Y6 Choral Concert at Farlingaye school!
If you know of any parents looking for a nursery place for their 3 or 4 year old please do recommend our nursery, Little Willows. Details of their Open Days are below.
Happy Easter to you all!
