Gruffalo-inspired Learning
We have had a super busy start to the term. We have been learning all about The Gruffalo, we have drawn and painted the Gruffalo along with the deep dark woods.
With the playdough we have also made our own versions. In the woods we acted out the story in small groups, we even learnt the Gruffalo song!
This week we have been learning all about the Gruffalo’s Child. We have learnt all about how you make a shadow and experimented with torches and shadow puppets.
In the garden we have experimented with ice and made ice ornaments by carefully selecting small leaves and twigs to freeze overnight. We even painted using ice. Our Gruffalo display looks amazing, the children have really enjoyed observational painting to create their pictures. We have also been learning Gruffalo songs.
