F2 w/c 31st January
This week the children have been so enthusiastic about their learning. We travelled over to Asia to celebrate Chinese New Year, we learnt that it’s celebrated in lots of different countries, not just China and it is also called the Lunar New year.
We have looked at maps and flags of the different countries, dressed up, used chopsticks, learnt all about tigers, made a lion dance and kept a steady drum beat too. We made our own dragons and lucky envelopes too. The children have also been inspired to make things at home which is so wonderful to see.
