F2 w/c 24th January
This week we have travelled all the way to the arctic to learn about Polar Bears, did you know a polar bear can be up to 3 metres long? We have drawn one on our playground.
Our story of the week is Polar Bear, Polar Bear what do you hear? by Eric Carle.
We have been busy retelling the story using a story sack full of the animals, we have enjoyed re telling the story to our friends.
We went on a winter walk and had a checklist so we could find signs of winter, we also tried really hard to stand still and listen to the birds. We looked quite important with our clipboards.
In maths we have been using the dominos to add two quantities together and find different ways to get the same total. E,g. How many ways can you make 5?
We have continued listening to Winnie stories and we love voting for which one to read first. The children also showed great interest in drawing Winnie pictures.
