F2 – Diwali and Fireworks
F2 have had a busy week back after half term. We’ve looked at the popular story, Room on the Broom, made potions, sequenced the story and had lots of fun role-playing the different characters, especially the Dragon! On Thursday it was the start of Diwali and the children enjoyed sharing the Hindu story of Rama and Sita. We looked at some of the different ways the festival of light is celebrated. This flowed perfectly into Fireworks night and the children have loved the various firework activities on offer. Have a lovely weekend.
