F2 w/c 13th June
This week we have continued our under the sea themes and tried to answer the children’s questions. One of which was “What does a fish skeleton look like?” We love being hands on in F2 so Mrs Bradshaw managed to get hold of a real whole salmon, plaice and trout. The children were so curious: we learned how fish move, what cartilage is, and talked about smells. Thank you to our friends at The Fish Box for the donations.
Our book of the week was an online singing book, which we have shared below:
We have also enjoyed lots of non fiction sea creature books.
We have loved being outside and keeping safe in the sun. We have been really creative in making sea scene pictures.
In maths, we have been consolidating our learning of odd and even numbers and number bonds. We have used 2d shapes to make fish pictures too.
We were really impressed with all the homework. Thank you for your support.
