F2 – w/c 7th March
What another SUPER busy week we have head reading all of the Supertato stories. They have inspired us to be so creative making carnival headbands, painting A Supertato, printing with potato mashers, making maps of journeys and writing books about Evil Pea.
We have used great craftsmanship skills in making our own super hero veggies, however Evil Pea came and trapped them all 😳. We have made traps for Evil Pea and made wanted posters to put up around the school Have you seen Evil Pea?
We were also inspired by Supertato to get fit and out PE lesson was all about moving in different ways to get fit and use Superpowers.
Im Maths we used frozen peas and tweezers to count accurately and partition ten peas into two amounts to see how many different ways we could make ten.
We have used story spatulas to make up our own stories.
We’ve had a wonderful time, thank you so much for the donations of veggies they were very much appreciated.
Finally, we also mashed some peas and read lots of books with our year 4 reading buddies!
