The one with the carol singers…
Welcome to December’s News Cycle and to the school we welcome Lilly in F2. It is with great sadness that I announce the departure of Mrs Barnes from Year 5. Please see the ‘News’ section for further details and to meet the new Year 5 teacher.
What a fantastically festive December we’ve had! Our children and teachers have worked incredibly hard to put on their Christmas Productions and I hope you agree that they have made this Christmas period particularly special. Congratulations and a huge well done to everyone. Thank you, also, to my staff who have worked so hard this term.
We have two more special events to conclude the term. On Monday 18th we will be holding our official Christmas lunch and it is also our ‘Christmas Jumper Day’. £1 fines will go towards the Derbyshire fund. The Hot Spiced Cup at 3pm on 20th December will bring our festivities to an end and will be a lovely way for your families to start your own celebrations. I wish you all a very Happy Christmas and look forward to seeing you in the New Year!
