F1 and F2 Christmas assemblies
It was the turn of F1 and F2 to close the class assemblies on Monday 13th December. Both classes melted hearts across the playground, covering festive preschool classics including Jingle Bells and When Santa Got Stuck Up The Chimney followed by the Christmas Conga! Here are some pictures from last week’s Y5 performance and we hope that the videos sent to F1/F2 parents went down well.

Christmas Jumper Day
Festive fun was had by all during this highlight of the school calendar. Children across the year groups had great fun eating their Christmas Lunches from their classrooms, listening to festive tunes and tucking into their food. The Year 3 Class News also has many more pictures of the day!

Honesty Stall
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Honesty Stall. It raised over £100, which will give FOWPS a great boost towards activities next year. A special thank you to Heather Williams for not only for crafting so many lovely things but for managing the stall too.
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee – Additional Holiday Friday 18th February
As you may be aware, an extra bank holiday has been announced for 3 June 2022 for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. As this falls during the school holidays, we are able to close the school on an alternative date to give staff and students a day off. We have chosen Friday 18th February, which is the final day before the half term break. As a result, the last day of school prior to half term will be Thursday 17th February, allowing families to enjoy an extended week off. We have chosen this date in line with Farlingaye High School as we recognise this will be beneficial to families with siblings there.
