Forest School Club
*This club is now fully booked for the Autumn Term*
Forest School Club engages Years 3, 4 & 5 with the natural world. Run by our fully qualified forest school leader, Mrs Suzanne Strand, to allow the children to ‘Build Learning Power’ through supervised activities such as:-
- safe fire lighting
- whittling
- nature art
- shelter building
- games
Over the six 90-minute sessions the children will also make things so they have crafts to show and use. There are multiple benefits to this kind of learning: building confidence and self-esteem; boosting physical and mental health; learning new skills outdoors; and promoting the importance of teamwork.
